Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Value Engineering & Process Design

• Develop cost-efficient process and facility designs to meet project and production targets.

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.

• Prepare and review key process engineering documents, including PFD, P&ID, material & energy balances, and utility requirements.

• Support vendor evaluation, technical comparison, and procurement activities.

• Collaborate with E&I, Mechanical, Civil, Production, and Quality teams to deliver effective engineering solutions.

• Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in process engineering.

Technical Execution & Improvement

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis during project execution.

• Monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement and process optimization.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and HAZOP requirements.

• Support process validation and ensure proper documentation and implementation.

Commissioning & Handover

• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, stabilization, and handover to Operations.

• Resolve process-related issues and support improvement of equipment and process performance.

• Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes and equipment.

Job Requirement

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in FMCG manufacturing or EPC industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• Good knowledge of process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis.

• Familiar with process simulation, CAD, SAP, and project management tools.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management, cost control, and budget management.

• Experience with Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, or other process improvement methodologies.

• Knowledge of automation and control systems such as PLC, SCADA, or DCS.

• Knowledge of ISO/quality management systems and safety requirements.

• Experience working on projects in developing or emerging markets.

• Master’s degree or professional certification in engineering is a plus.

• Knowledge of sustainable and green industry practices is a plus.
